Responsibilities & Context:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced AGM / Manager (Cables – Trade) in our Sales & Marketing team. The incumbent will support the Head of Sales & Marketing in managing trade/retail sales operations, dealer/distributor networks, and trade marketing activities. This position requires strong leadership, market knowledge, and proven expertise in driving sales growth in the cable/electrical products sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Head of Sales & Marketing in formulating and executing sales & marketing strategies for the trade/retail cable market.
Manage and expand dealer, distributor, and retailer networks across assigned regions.
Supervise, guide, and motivate the sales team to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to provide insights and recommendations.
Maintain strong business relationships with key dealers, contractors, and stakeholders.
Support in planning sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports.
Ensure timely collections and adherence to company’s trade policy.
Coordinate with production, supply chain, and operations teams for order fulfilment and smooth operations.
Take charge of sales team operations in the absence of the Head of Sales & Marketing.
Any other task as assigned by the management.
