Educational Requirements:
∎ Four year Bachelors or Master's degree in Mathematics/ Statistics/ Actuarial Science from any Public or renowned Private University in Bangladesh or abroad.
∎ Minimum CGPA 3.50 out of 4.00 or equivalent in Graduation and Post-Graduation level.
∎ Minimum CGPA 5.00 or equivalent in SSC & HSC level.

∎ At least 7 year(s)
Job Context:
∎ Delta Life Insurance Company Limited, one of the leading life insurance Companies in Bangladesh, providing life insurance services by a team of highly-motivated and skilled professionals for its Actuarial Department. The Company intends to strengthen its business with professional manner by recruiting young, energetic, bright and meritorious personnel for the position.
∎ The selected candidates will be required to appear for the examination conducted by the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, UK or Society for Actuaries, USA. The Company will reimburse course materials and examination fees upon successful completion of the exams.
∎ In addition to the above position two experienced actuarial staff are required to work at Senior Positions.
∎ Probation period: 12 (Twelve) months.
Additional Requirements:
∎ In addition to the above position two experienced actuarial staff are required to work at Senior Positions with the qualifications and experiences as follows:
∎ Master's degree in Mathematics/ Statistics/ Actuarial Science from any Public or renowned Private University in Bangladesh or abroad with excellent academic background.
∎ Passed a number of papers in actuarial science from an actuarial professional body which is a full member of International Actuarial Association, preferably from the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, UK or the Society of Actuaries, USA with minimum of at least 7 years experience in actuarial work in any life insurance company in Bangladesh or abroad.
∎ Age not exceeding 32 years as on June 01, 2023.
∎ Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
∎ Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Power point, knowledge and experience in programming a must.
∎ Preference will be given to part qualified candidates in Actuarial professional exam.
∎ Passed a number of papers in actuarial science from an actuarial professional body which is a full member of International Actuarial Association, preferably from the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, UK or the Society of Actuaries, USA with minimum of at least 7 years experience in actuarial work in any life insurance company in Bangladesh or abroad.
Salary:
∎ Remuneration and Designation will depend on the experience and background of the selected candidates.
Attractive remuneration will be given during the probation period. After successful completion of the probation period the incumbent will be confirmed in the regular pay scale of the Company.
Other fringe benefits like contributory provident fund, gratuity, group and health insurance, festival and incentive bonuses are available after confirmation.
