  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Officer to join our team at our Depot to ensure the smooth operation of our financial activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.

  • Prepare financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.

  • Monitor and analyze accounting data, and produce financial reports or statements.

  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.

  • Conduct periodic audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.

  • Maintain financial security by following internal controls.

  • Coordinate and support the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts.

  • Manage inventory accounting and oversee the financial transactions related to the depot.

  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.

  • Prepare and file tax returns and handle other regulatory compliance matters.

  • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
