∎ Eastport Limited, 100% Export Oriented Garments Industry based in Cumilla Export Processing Zone, Bangladesh is currently seeking applications for the position of an Accountant (Cash & Bank). Eastport Limited is a manufacturing unit of PORTWEST, Ireland a leading global manufacturer of safety wear.
∎ Eastport is looking to hire an Accounts Officer (Cash & Bank) to join their growing team . The ideal candidate will have 3 years or more experience.
∎ JOB LOCATION : Cumilla EPZ
∎ Job Nature : Permanent
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Maintain Petty cash transactions
∎ Update Bank and Cash transactions daily basis.
∎ Post transactions in Internal and group accounting Software
∎ Prepare & Maintain VAT & AIT Returns
∎ Well documentation of all accounting and financial papers
∎ Ad hoc tasks as required to support Finance Function.
∎ Back up for other colleagues where necessary
Additional Requirements:
∎ Excellent oral and written communication in English
∎ A minimum of three years of experience in related field
∎ A broad knowledge in VAT & TAX
∎ Experienced in online VAT returns is an advantage
∎ Well experienced in accounting software Tally & ERP
∎ Flexibility - willingness to help other colleagues to meet deadlines
∎ Excellent accuracy and attention to detail in performing accounting tasks.
∎ Strong Microsoft office skills, especially excel
Salary: Negotiable
