Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for all transactions.
∎ Record daily financial transactions, including invoices, payments, receipts, and expenses.
∎ Ensure that all financial records are properly organized and stored for easy access and retrieval.2) Accounts Payable and Receivable Management:
∎ Process accounts payable, including reviewing and verifying invoices, reconciling statements, and making payments to suppliers.
∎ Manage accounts receivable by generating invoices, following up on outstanding payments, and maintaining accurate records of receivables.
∎ Monitor and reconcile the accounts payable and receivable ledgers to ensure accuracy and completeness.3) Bank Reconciliation:
∎ Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of cash balances in the company's financial statements.
∎ Investigate and resolve discrepancies between bank statements and internal financial records.4) Financial Reporting and Analysis:
∎ Prepare and maintain financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
∎ Assist in the preparation of financial statements for internal and external reporting.
∎ Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.5) Budgeting and Forecasting:
∎ Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts by providing relevant financial data and analysis.
∎ Monitor actual performance against budgets and report any variances to management.
