Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist Project Coordinator to prepare, manage & control budget for managing the project smoothly
∎ Manage all accounts related letters, documents, registers (payment register, asset register, disbursement register, check register, movement register etc.), manual and policies
∎ Up to date cash book, ledger book, journal, bill & vouchers, bank ledger, and correspondence files
∎ Co-operate internal and external auditors for completion of all project audit.
∎ Orient project staff on financial and accounting rules, formats etc
∎ Visit field activities to check related records, documents and to ensure that project financial and Administrative resources are utilized properly.
∎ Support Project Coordinator to maintain correspondence with donor and others stakeholders.
∎ Prepare financial report including budget and expenditure (Monthly, Quarterly, Half Yearly and Annually etc.) and submit it to Project Coordinator.
∎ Undertake all kind of financial security measures and compliance related issues as per policy
∎ Ensure security and safe custody of all documents related to the responsibility.
∎ Ensure advance to the project staff for field operation, staff travelling, etc and adjustment in time
∎ Perform monitoring and guidance to the project staff to maintain financial procedures for their expenses;
∎ Prepare project staff salary statement and take appropriate measure for payment in time;
∎ Take care of project financial and Administrative filing and ensure all documents are well organized.
∎ Ensure vehicle log book maintenance including motorcycle and prepared monthly fuel consumption report
∎ Make payments after verification of the accuracy, validity, legitimacy of all documentation ensuring, completeness of financial documents, (purchase requests, work orders, invoices), proper coding and approval by responsible managers before payments are made
∎ Review and ensure the correctness of monthly accounts and cash & bank reconciliations for timely submission into Accounting system
∎ Ensure deduction of VAT & Tax from vendors/suppliers bill and deposit to bank as per Govt. rules.
∎ Prepare monthly plan and yearly plan & submit to supervisor
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 05 years experiences in financial management including clear understanding about budget preparation, cash management, financial report, budget variance analysis, asset management, dealing VAT/Tax, procurement etc.
∎ Ability to maintain cash book & ledger
∎ Familiar with soft-ware based accounting system
∎ Has knowledge on VAT/Tax compliance
∎ Proficiency in both written and spoken English.
∎ Computer knowledge on MS Office, MS Excel and Power Point.
∎ Able to drive motorcycle and will have valid driving license
Salary: Tk. 28000 (Monthly)
