Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Manage and maintain Accounts of the programme as per project design.
∎ Handle petty Cash, Cheque & Bank transaction and maintain register.
∎ Prepare Bank Book, Cash Book and Voucher with tags and Top sheet.
∎ Prepare monthly payroll, pay slip and disburse salary & allowances to the co-workers.
∎ Prepare documents related to applicable VAT & Tax deduction and ensure deposit the same to the Govt. Exchequer.
∎ Maintain all kinds of official Register.
∎ Support purchase & sale committee in collecting quotations & preparing comparative statement.
∎ Maintain liaison and report as per requirement of the donors.
∎ Regular liaison with the Coordinator and give updated report of the programme.
∎ Follow all the financial rules and regulation of the organization and maintain all government compliance regarding the programme.
∎ SOS Children's Village International in Bangladesh (www.sos-bangladesh.org) is a non-governmental social devolvement organisation provides care for the children who have lost parental care or who are at risk of losing parental care and deprived of caring family environment. SOS Children's Villages works in more than 130 countries and territories around the world. In Bangladesh, we have been working since 1972 and presently has programmes in Dhaka, Rajshahi, Khulna, Chattogram, Bogura, Sylhet and Bagerhat.
∎ Our Programmes contribute to delivering on SDGs with a special focus on our target group to improve national social protection system, fighting inequalities, promoting access to quality education, strengthening youth employability and ending violence against children.
∎ Area of Responsibilities:
