Job Context:
∎ Friends in Village Development Bangladesh (FIVDB) is implementing Humanitarian Preparedness and Response Program, Cox’s Bazar with the support of different development partners.
∎ The position will be recruited for implementing the project based at the Field Office at Gilatoli (Tenak) with substantial time and project areas (different camps and host community at Teknaf and Ukhia). The job may be regularized after completion of 6 months of services under FIVDB’s pay-scale, rules and regulations.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Accountant will be responsible to coordinate and mange day-to-day financial and record keeping management of Projects. S/he will be reportable to Finance Manager.
∎ Record keeping of all invoices and other bills, staff advance, etc. and cross check for quality ensuring
∎ Preparing vouchers, checking bills of whole project.
∎ Providing payment of bills, voucher, vendors after proper checking
∎ Maintaining petty cashes; and checking petty cash expenses, daily cash count sheet and petty cash reimbursement
∎ Maintaining and preserving Books of accounts such as: Cash Book/ Fixed Assets Register/General and subsidiary ledger/ Cheque issue register.
∎ S/He will ensure the internal financial audit especially at field level.
∎ S/He will ensure proper inventory of resources at field level
∎ Assist Liaison and correspondence with various Banks, Development Parnters, NGO and other offices
∎ Assist organization’s Finance Team to conduct internal audit and in external audit
∎ Any other task assigned by the supervisor
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 50 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply

∎ Fluent in Bangla and basic English.
∎ Work as team player and has flexibility in his/her work
∎ Has to be willing to take challenge of working in a participatory approach for Rohingya Community/ Host Community
∎ Good communication, Facilitation and motivational skill.
∎ Understanding of local cultural language
∎ Abilities to undertake extensive travel to village level
∎ Ability to work under pressure
∎ Familiar with Tally software, MS-word, Excel, Power point and internet
Salary:
∎ Tk. 50000 (Monthly)
∎ TK. Up to 50,000.00 (Monthly) (fixed; taxes payable to be deducted)
