Job Responsibilities:
∎ Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and other financial reports. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
∎ Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with management to develop annual budgets and financial forecasts. Monitor actual performance against budgeted targets and provide variance analysis.
∎ Accounts Payable and Receivable: Oversee the accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice verification, payment processing, and collections. Ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions.
∎ General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile the general ledger accounts. Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
∎ Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making. Identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement to optimize financial performance.
∎ Taxation and Compliance: Assist in tax planning and compliance activities, including preparation of tax returns, filing of government reports, and adherence to tax regulations.
∎ Audit Support: Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial audits. Prepare necessary documentation and address audit inquiries.
∎ Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate accounting processes and systems to identify opportunities for streamlining and automation. Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
