Strong knowledge and practical experience in TAX and VAT matters, particularly related to the freight forwarding industry.
Responsibilities & Context:
Job Location - Sreepur, Mawna (Factory)
Manage daily accounting operations, including data entry, ledger maintenance, and reconciliation.
Ensure accurate preparation of financial reports, bank statements and balance sheets.
Handle VAT and TAX matters as per Bangladesh regulations, including monthly submissions and compliance.
Prepare and submit VAT returns, withholding TAX (TDS) calculations, and ensure timely payment to the authorities.
Maintain and monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable related to freight forwarding operations.
Work closely with the Operations team to ensure accurate billing and revenue recognition.
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and audits.
Liaise with external auditors, banks, and tax authorities as needed.
Maintain all financial documents and ensure filing in compliance with regulatory and internal audit requirements.
