∎ Experience: The applicants should have experience in the NGO, Development Agency regarding accounts and financial management, monitoring, and reporting.
∎ Willingness to field visit (at least 30%) and facing challenges.
∎ Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (especially MS Excel, MS Word and MS Outlook).
∎ knowledge in VAT and Tax regulations.
∎ Able to drive a motorbike and interested in traveling in rural areas having a valid driving license.
∎ Applicant who has working experience in holistic transformational development work on climate change, disaster risk reduction, good governance, Education, Water Sanitation & Hygiene, and women empowerment-related projects will get special priority.
∎ Spiritually mature follower of Jesus Christ, with sound biblical knowledge and commitment to World Concern’s values, vision and mission.
∎ Model and demonstrate effective Christian leadership and able to lead daily devotions and apply scripture discern God’s direction in planning and decision making (Lead Like Jesus practiced).
∎ Understands, articulates and integrates World Concern’s transformational development approach into life and all WC program and operational activities; partners with Church and Christian organizations in Bangladesh and region.
∎ Should have strong interpersonal skills.
∎ Good command of Bangla and English.
∎ Agree to accomplish any other official duties as may be assigned by the management.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Place of Work: This position is field-based (Kalapara, Patuakhali). Require travel to the country office.
∎ Working Hour: From 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. without any formal lunch break. Working day are from Sunday through Thursday. The staff may be required to work beyond these hours in emergencies.
∎ Responsible to: Project Manager-PARIBARTAN
∎ Responsible for handling daily accounts and preserving all kinds of books and documents of accounts, requisition books, bank books, Bank cheques etc.
∎ Check up all project vouchers along with correct supporting vouchers of Paribartan Project of World Concern and fill up voucher sheets with coding expenses properly.
∎ Prepare a petty cash summary sheet to replenish petty cash on a regular basis.
∎ Ensure compliance of financial rules in the purchase of goods and services.
∎ Produce monthly financial reports, monthly portfolio information for the Country Office as well as for donor agencies including Government offices.
∎ Maintain office equipment, vehicles, supplies and do administrative jobs to assist the Project Manager.
∎ Make sure that all payments are made on due time and all transactions are made in proper and recommended manner.
∎ Keep all the books and records in a safe and secure place so that they would not be lost or destroyed.
∎ Maintain the Assets register and update this on a regular basis.
∎ Give opinion in connection with false expenses, incorrect supporting vouchers or any other irregularities so that the remedy could be found in time.
∎ Prepare periodic financial reports for the WCB and donor Ensure deduction of VAT & Tax at source where applicable and timely deposit to the Government Treasury.
∎ Tracking the motorcycle fuel and maintenance
∎ Provide all sorts of administrative support to Project Staff.
∎ Maintain personnel files of staff including archiving all records like personal information, records of leave, letters and provide to management.
∎ Involve with purchases as a member of the project purchase committee.
∎ Perform such other duties which the Project Officer & Project Manager may assign for program activity
∎ Perform social empowerment of the poor and their institutions (groups).
∎ As part of this role, the job holder will be expected to adhere to and support World Concern’s Safety and Security Policy and systems as part of their day-to-day duties, and comply, at all times, to safety and security protocols and directives, including reporting. Staff must maintain situational and self-awareness and be aware of the safety-security related consequences of their actions upon themselves, their team and the organization as a whole.
