Experience:

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.

• 2 to 4 years

• Experience: Minimum 2–4 years of hands-on experience in substation operation and maintenance (preferably 33kV).

Additional Requirements:

• ABC License holder (from Bangladesh Electrical Licensing Board) – candidates with a valid license will be given priority.
• Practical knowledge of VCBs, power transformers, HT panels, relays, and grounding systems.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong understanding of high voltage electrical systems and protective devices.
• Ability to read and interpret single-line diagrams (SLD) and control circuits.
• Experience in insulation resistance (IR), transformer oil BDV, and relay test procedures.
• Familiarity with SCADA/BMS systems is a plus.
• Good communication, teamwork, and emergency response capabilities.
• Diligence in record keeping, logbook management, and shift handover protocols.

Job Summary:

The 33kV Substation supervisor at Trade International Industries Ltd. is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and testing of substation equipment including VCBs, transformers, HT panels, and associated protection systems. The operator ensures safe, efficient, and uninterrupted electrical power supply to the factory premises in compliance with electrical safety regulations and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor 33kV substation equipment (e.g., VCBs, Power Transformers, HT Panels).
• Perform periodic maintenance, testing, and cleaning of all substation components.
• Conduct switching operations and isolation procedures for maintenance tasks.
• Maintain daily logs, energy readings, and fault/tripping records.
• Troubleshoot and respond promptly to electrical faults, alarms, or abnormal conditions.
• Coordinate with utility service providers and internal departments for power shutdowns, startup, and load distribution.
• Ensure all equipment is tested as per maintenance schedules (IR, BDV, relay testing, etc.).
• Implement electrical safety procedures including LOTO, PPE usage, and isolation tagging.
• Support preventive maintenance programs and energy audits.
• Maintain compliance with BSTI, DESCO/REB/PGCB standards and EHS guidelines.
