Experience:

Experience:

• At least 1–2 years of experience in community or youth-based work.

• Experience working with adolescents and youth groups will be an advantage.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong communication and facilitation skills, especially with adolescents and youth.

• Ability to inspire, motivate, and build leadership among young people.

• Team player with the capacity to coordinate youth volunteers.

• Willingness to travel within the assigned field areas.

Young Power in Social Action (YPSA) (<www.ypsa.org>) is an organization for sustainable development working in the Greater Chattogram Division including the Chattogram Hill Tracts (CHT) since 1985 (International Youth Year). YPSA is currently implementing the project titled "Health System Resiliency for Improved SRHR in Bangladesh”. Job Location: Project Office/Field Area

Position Summary:

The Youth Organizer will work closely with adolescents and young people to promote awareness, leadership, and participation in project-related activities, including SRHR, Nutrition, and life skills. They will mobilize youth groups, facilitate interactive sessions, and organize community-level events to strengthen youth engagement at the grassroots. Youth Organizers will also support and coordinate with youth volunteers to ensure effective delivery of activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct outreach with adolescents and youth through door-to-door visits, group discussions, and peer sessions.

• Facilitate interactive sessions and courtyard-style meetings on SRHR, Nutrition, and life skills.

• Organize and support youth-focused community events, campaigns, and awareness activities.

• Mobilize adolescents and youth to actively participate in project interventions.

• Guide and coordinate youth volunteers in field-level activities.

• Collect field-level information and share with the Field Implementation Facilitator.

• Document youth success stories and field experiences.

• Ensure adherence to project guidelines and youth-friendly approaches.

• Promote safeguarding, child safeguarding, gender equality, and organizational values in all activities.
