Experience:
Candidates who have completed their bachelor/master’s degree in law, International Relationship Psychology, Anthropology, Economics, Development studies from any recognized university will get preference.
At least two years of experience in community development work and outreach activities or legal issues, preferably in the Rohingya camps.
Having experience in beneficiary/client interview and documentation
Having basic knowledge on victim case management system
Having efficiency in report and case writing and communication in English and Bangla
Having experience in case filing at the court/police station
Knowledge of Protection Principles in humanitarian work
Skills in public speaking
60% field movement
Proficiency in Chittagonian/Rohingya dialect
Experience in event/session organizing and facilitating at the community level experience
Communication with officials of different local government agencies and NGO stakeholders
Mentality to travel to the hard-to- reach areas with program support materials/logistics as per work plan
Having a good understanding of the host and Rohingya camp contexts of Cox’s Bazar
Proficient in Computer Operations, MS Office Application including typing preferably in English and Bengali both E-mail & Internet.
Knowledge of use/communication through KoBo tools, WhatsApp etc.
Young Power in Social Action (YPSA) <www.ypsa.org> is an organization for sustainable development working in the greater Chittagong division including Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT) since 1985 (International Youth Year). YPSA has been implementing a project titled, “Prevention and Response Activities Implementation Activities on Counter Trafficking Issues” at Ukhiya, Cox’s Bazar both Host community and Camps since June 2018 till the date. The project is supported by the International Organization for Migration (IOM).
Job Title: Case Worker
Duration: 2 months (May 2026 to June 2026) High Possibility of project extension
Job Description/Responsibilities:
Responsible for implementing the project activities as front-line worker on Counter Trafficking issues in the host and Rohingya camps.
Collect information of and identify victims of trafficking (VoT) in the project area
Maintenance of VoT record and relevant information in line with the data protection principles
Organize Case Conference with project team for VoT case management purpose
Facilitate awareness session on CT Issues
Ensure reintegration of the VoTs of the project
Coordinate with other VoT service providers – Law Enforcement Agencies (LEA), I/NGOs, protection actors, local administration and other relevant stakeholders for VoT reintegration purposes
Participate in the weekly case management meeting with all case workers and provide necessary support
Collect and submit case studies, success stories on a monthly and quarterly target basis as well as whenever required.
Follow up the beneficiaries, particularly the enrolled victims of trafficking on a regular basis.
Perform any other task/s assigned as emerged and required for the project and organization
