Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and experienced WordPress Developer (Security-Focused) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and securing WordPress websites while ensuring high performance, stability, and protection against cyber threats. Both male and female candidates are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

WordPress Development

• Develop, customise, and maintain WordPress websites

• Customise and enhance WordPress themes and plugins

• Convert UI designs (Figma / PSD / XD) into responsive WordPress layouts

• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness

• Optimize website performance, speed, and scalability

• Troubleshoot and fix bugs, errors, and compatibility issues

• Maintain regular backups, updates, and version control

Security Responsibilities

• Implement WordPress, web, and basic network security best practices

• Secure websites against malware, hacking, brute-force attacks, SQL injection, and XSS

• Configure and manage SSL certificates, HTTPS, firewalls, and security plugins

• Monitor website traffic, server logs, and suspicious activities

• Perform regular security checks, vulnerability scans, and updates

• Handle malware removal and website recovery if needed

• Ensure secure user authentication, access control, and data protection

Server & Hosting Management

• Manage hosting environments, cPanel, and server configurations

• Configure domain, DNS, and email security

• Ensure server up-time, performance, and secure data transmission

• Coordinate with hosting providers when required

Additional Requirements

• Age: 25–35 years

• Strong knowledge of WordPress CMS, PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL

• Good understanding of Web and WordPress Security concepts

• Experience with WordPress security plugins (Word-fence, i Themes Security, etc.)

• Familiarity with Linux servers, hosting environments, and cPanel

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Woo-commerce and Woo-commerce security

• Knowledge of Cloud-flare or CDN security

• Basic knowledge of cloud hosting (AWS / Digital-ocean / Azure)

• Familiarity with Git or version control systems
