• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO

• 1 to 2 years’ experience in adult mental health OT will be preferred

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

• Membership of WFOT is desirable

The HUB — Neuroscience & Psychiatry Hub Ltd.(NPHL) is a specialised mental health facility and an enterprise of SAJIDA Foundation, located in Gulshan to address the growing need for quality, accessible mental health services in Bangladesh. NPHL offers integrated services including inpatient and outpatient care, psychological counselling, occupational therapy, and 24/7 specialised support. It is a trusted space where individuals and families can access high-quality mental health care with dignity, privacy, and compassion.
NPHL is seeking a compassionate and skilled Wellness Coordinator to join its hospital-based care team. The coordinator will play a crucial role in helping individuals of all ages regain independence and improve their quality of life through personalised therapeutic interventions. The Wellness Coordinator will develop an adult mental health occupational therapy programme and supervise occupational therapists as they develop tailored treatment plans in collaboration with NPHL’s multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:

• Creating and delivering occupational therapy and wellbeing initiatives, organising events and activities, and providing advice and guidance for hospital-based and community clients experiencing mental health issues.

• In collaboration with the multidisciplinary team, conducting standardised, comprehensive admission testing and on-going assessments of clients' physical, cognitive, emotional, and functional needs and abilities.

• In collaboration with the multidisciplinary team, developing treatment plans, assessing clients’ progress and recommending adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.

• Providing therapeutic interventions including one-on-one and group therapy sessions to enhance clients' fine and gross motor skills, improve activities of daily living and learn adaptive techniques, such as sensory integration, relaxation, and mindfulness.

• Communicating effectively with clients, families, and caregivers to ensure understanding of treatment plans and promote active participation in therapy.

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records, documenting progress, treatment plans, and outcomes.

• Providing training and supervising occupational therapists, OT assistants/ Activity coordinators, and other staff (Nurses, PCAs)as assigned.

• Receive supervision through foreign associates ( in person and online) and implement accordingly
