Experience:
2 Years experience as QAQC engineer in Oil & GAS Pipeline Project
Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification from a recognized organization·
At least NDT level 2 certification
Proven experience in welding inspection and quality control within the oil & gas industry.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting welding symbols, blueprints, and specifications.
Strong knowledge of welding processes, techniques, and related equipment.
Familiarity with non-destructive testing (NDT) methods and procedures.·
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Develop, review, and update WPS to ensure they meet project requirements, industry codes (e.g., AWS, ASME), and applicable standards.
Prepare and maintain PQR documents, EQT documents, conducting welding tests, and recording results to validate welding.
Maintain a comprehensive library of welding-related documents, including WPS, PQR, welder qualifications, and welding inspection reports.
Stay informed about changes in welding codes, standards, and regulations, ensuring all project documentation remains up-to-date and compliant.
Work closely with project managers, engineers, and welding personnel to ensure alignment with project specifications and quality requirements.
Provide guidance and training to welding personnel to ensure they understand and follow established procedures.
Collaborate with Quality Control Inspectors to ensure that welding processes are in compliance with approved WPS and PQR.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in welding procedures and documentation.
Ensure that welding operations are carried out safely, adhering to all safety regulations and guidelines.
