Job Context:
∎ LEDARS is NGO Affairs Bureau affiliated NGO working in Bangladesh since 1996. This project has been implementing by Food Security Network (KHANI), Bangladesh with the financial support by German based donor agency BroT.
∎
∎ Food Security Network (Khani), Bangladesh is a National wide Network with critical concerns related to Food Security, Smallholder rights and Agrarian governance in the context of national and global food insecurity, formed in 2005. KHANI Bangladesh works through Research, Peoples centric Advocacy, Lobby and Campaign to influence the implementation of the right to food, and uphold food-right issues in national and regional spheres.
∎ Employment Status: Contractual (November- December)
∎ Joining Date: Immediate

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Developing a website for KHANI and design in an easy, accessible and lucrative manner which will reflect the theme of Right to Food Movement
∎ Designing in both Bangla (for the national stakeholders, beneficiaries, farmers and people who feel flexible in bangla) and English (for the international stakeholders) languages
∎ Presenting the network members with same importance as they are the implementing partners of KHANI activities
∎ Presenting a new visual look and it will be user-friendly
∎ Creating several broad-headed sections under which issues/ activities will be integrated as sub-sections
∎ Developing a user manual and deliver a webinar for the staffs on content upload, system maintenance and administration
∎ Providing technical support, quality control for a period of 3 months
∎ Full source code including all developed libraries shall be handed over to KHANI

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 5-7 years of experience designing visually appealing and navigation friendly web sites
∎ Familiarity and relevant experience in using different Content Management Systems (CMS)
∎ Have a broad knowledge of current web development technologies and design tools in the field, and new software and other web programming languages and programs including use of HTML, XHTML, CSS, XML, XSLT, Macromedia Flash, PHP, Bootstrap etc.
∎ Have excellent knowledge of recent trends in graphic design, web sites, including online video publishing and social media networking
∎ Must have good knowledge in English and Bangla writing

Salary: Tk. 100000 (Monthly)
