Job Responsibilities:
∎ To lead the delivery of overall technical services and provide technical guidance and support to the project's overall technical issues with ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability.
∎ To ensure that the WASH services in the cyclone Amphan affected communities managed by NGO Forum are delivered in an efficient, equitable and accountable manner, according to UNICEF, SPHERE and national standards.
∎ Ensure successful implementation and effective management of the project activities.
∎ Assist the Project Manager in overall planning, budgeting, implementation and monitoring of the project.
∎ Technical supervision and cross checking of construction materials of WASH infrastructure before installation with specifications, drawing, design quality and quantity.
∎ Responsible for feasibility survey, design, prepare the estimation of quantities and cost detailed drawings and other necessary documents of WASH interventions.
∎ To maintain up-to-date records of all field level activities to show a status of the work, the status of construction materials, equipment at store and construction sites.
∎ Conduct regular monitoring and full technical supervision and provide technical inputs to the beneficiaries.
∎ Manage construction contract by providing engineering support during project construction and process contract change orders and design revisions.
∎ Perform other relevant duties as required for the project as well as the organization.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Practical work experience in WASH sectors with WASH, emergency response.
∎ Ability to communicate with people in local language (Cox's Bazaar)
∎ Medium in English (written/verbal)
∎ Team management- Ability to work under limited supervision - Dynamism - Good report writing ability - Computer skills (Have strong knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Office).
Salary: Tk. 50000 (Monthly)
