Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Gana Unnayan Kendra (GUK) is looking for a suitable candidate for the position of Warehouse Assistant for WFP funded and Christian Aid supported ‘Natural Resources Management’ project at Rohingya refugee camps and the surrounding host communities in Cox's Bazar.
∎ Responsible for the warehouse management of WFP funded and CAID supported Natural Resources Management project.
∎ Ensure receipt of goods is in good order as described on the purchase order & amp; requisition ensuring relevant technical advice for receiving goods of specific technical nature and also develop GRN
∎ Organize the loading/unloading of store goods when dispatching to projects sites
∎ Follow GUK and Christian Aid warehouse management policies and procedures in all steps of goods receiving and dispatching.
∎ Organize transport and assist Programme for distribution of Materials.
∎ Receiving GIK from any other agencies
∎ Update Stock register manually as well as Computerized on every receipt and issue of materials from the warehouse
∎ Produce stock/warehouse management reports on weekly & monthly basis.
∎ Carry out regular stock reconciliation and report of any discrepancy to the line manager.
∎ Update the Asset register regularly and do the asset tagging for the new asset received.
∎ Issue of assets on proper authorization and format
∎ Maintenance of Asset
∎ Prepare the Asset & camp, Inventory report monthly basis.
∎ Prepare donor wise Asset report when required.
∎ Maintaining stock register at the warehouse office store at camp
∎ Receiving the goods and ensuring the goods received are same in the order- with the support of programme/technical staff.
∎ Establish ground coordination among Community Mobilizers, Construction Supervisors, Environmental Assistants, and Volunteers to perform his/her daily activities properly
∎ Any other task/s assigned as emerged and required for the project and organization.
