Job Context:
∎ The Warehouse Assistant supports the Warehouse officer to make sure all items in the warehouse are inventoried and in good location in accordance with donor warehouse policy and Joint Rohingya Response Program (JRRP) needs. S/he assists management of storage spaces for all the programs and accountable for warehouse inventory by coordinating movement of product from production to warehouse shipping. S/he facilitates the efficient and timely movement of food and non-food relief supplies. Assists the Warehouse Officer with the completion of reception, storage, transport and distribution activities of the JRRP programs.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ 1. Ensure stock management procedures (stock cards, records, filling, and identification);
∎ 2. Ensure proper identification of all arrival/departure material (quantity, quality, and delivery);
∎ 3. Responsible for preparing reports of warehouse inventory for the line manager;
∎ 4. Responsible for organizing JRRP warehouses and stores by maintaining accurate and systematic storage of stock;
∎ 5. Oversee and maintain cleanliness both within and outside warehouse premises by maintaining a workable cleaning rotation;
∎ 6. Ensure correct preparation of deliveries (waybills, GRN’s etc.);
∎ 7. Respect FH and donors physical stock management requirements (organization, cleaning, ventilation);
∎ 8. Ensure that all goods are packed safely and segregated according to their nature;
∎ 9. Ensure receipt of goods is in good order as described on the purchase order & requisition ensuring relevant technical advice for receiving goods of specific technical nature; and
∎ 10. Organize the loading/unloading of store goods when dispatching to projects.
∎ 11. Ensure secure storage of all assets in the stores, office and other facilities;
∎ 12. Responsible for receiving assets, inspecting and verifying all incoming JRRP assets and supplies;
∎ 13. Conduct periodical and annual inventory counting and report to the line management according to FH procedures, including ensuring all field office locations maintain appropriate standards and procedures;
∎ 14. Keeps track of all asset and equipment movements and updates asset and equipment registers.
∎ 15. Conduct weekly inventory of stock and ensure that stock cards are created, up-to-date, and accurate;
∎ 16. Keep inventories ledger up to date;
∎ 17. Carry out regular stock reconciliation and report of any discrepancy to the line manager;
∎ 18. Conduct weekly inventory of stock and ensure that stock cards are created, up-to-date, and accurate;
∎ 19. Assists in compiling daily stock report for the line manager.
