Experience:
Previous working experience as storekeeper of any nutrition project at least two years.
Proven experience in facilitation and conflict negotiation·
Proven experience as a team player·
Competent in the use of Microsoft Office computer programs including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Previous work experience in Nutrition and Health·
Good knowledge on CMAM guidelines and protocol·
Supervisor/Management, Problem-solving, negotiation, communication and collaborative skills·
Strong ability of analysis, decision-making, and relational skills.
Job Context
The overall purpose of a storekeeper is to contribute to the smooth and cost-effective operation of an organization by managing the flow of goods and supplies efficiently and ensuring quality and compliance with established standards and policies.
Job Location: Office-based in Moheshkhali/Pekua, with occasional field visits as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Receipt and dispatch/distribution of Commodities
Handling & stacking of Commodities
Maintenance & cleaning
Waste/Empty Bags/carton disposal
Inspection of stocks
Pest control
Inventory & commodity tracking
Warehouse/store security & staff safety
Documentation and record-keeping
Better relationships are maintained with the vendors or suppliers
Program Support
Receiving requisition from the program team for food to be distributed in fields like CC, FWC & UHSC level
Prepare waybill/delivery note for transportation of materials/ food from the project office warehouse to the CC & FWC level
Food, NFI & supplies & other equipment delivered to the program personnel based on their actual requisition
To ensure logistic support for arranging any program event, meeting, training & workshop
Food lifting from the WFP warehouse & ensure it transfers to CC & FWC level
To carry out any assigned duty by his/her line manager to implement the program successfully
Stock and warehouse management
Managing the stock for the stores/warehouses for the food, NFI, supplies, equipment & materials properly
Ensure the warehouse is following standards for food items and non-food items
Receipt and dispatch/distribution of Commodities
Handling & stacking of Commodities
Maintenance & cleaning
Waste/Empty Bags/carton disposal
Inspection of stocks
Pest control
Inventory & commodity tracking
Warehouse/store security & staff safety
Check the quality of the received goods & items:
Examine the deliveries quantity, quality, documentation & of receiving goods
Maintain GRN according to the Challan form
Report to the line managers about details of receiving information after receiving any materials & food and any problem shared with the quality and quantity
Physical inventory of food & noon food commodities
Physical inventory of commodities should be done every month.
Physical inventory should be undertaken at least two staff’s presence.
Reconciliation of difference between physical stock and recorded stock in the ledger/stack card
Inventory report should be shared within the last working days of the months
Implement security measures to safeguard warehouse contents from theft or damage
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the warehouse
To ensure repairmen tasks of the warehouse based on the need
Taking initiatives to pest control & fumigation of the warehouse
Documentation and record-keeping
Maintaining an accurate record of goods received and goods dispatched
Maintaining an accurate record of commodity stocks by keeping stack cards or BIN cards
Maintaining effective control of non-commodity supplies, e.g. empty sacks, pallets, twine, weighing scales
Waybills
Reporting issue
Monthly stock report Prepared (food, Non-food & oil items) by the end of the day for each month
The monthly physical Inventory report prepared end of the day each month and will be submitted to Logistics
To prepare & maintain master roll for any logistic item distribution.
Damage/Loss report prepared & share with line manager when any damage/loss occurred in the CNC or warehouse within 24hrse.
To prepare & share quarterly & yearly stock as well as CPDR & other report if needed
Special Note:
The Union Nutrition Supervisor may be assigned additional responsibilities as deemed necessary by the Nutrition Coordinator of GK.
