∎ The job holder should have a high level of managerial ability/self-confidence and be able to work with minimal supervision.
∎ Motivate and develop the Micro Department sales team members.
∎ Maintain a high level of communication with the Micro Sales Team.
∎ Ensure good inter-department coordination and communications.
∎ Specialized & Technical Skill:
∎ Previous experience in life insurance industry at a mid management level is preferred but not essential.
∎ Ideally, the job holder would have good micro industry connections at a senior level.
∎ Able to produce written business reports/correspondence in English and Bangla.
∎ Excellent communication and strong interpersonal Skills with the ability to work collaboratively across the organization.
∎ Strong commercial acumen and able to work in high a pressure environment.
∎ Excellent verbal communication skills, self-motivated to achieve aggressive targets.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Develop the Micro Insurance customer segment in line with GLIL's Strategic and Annual Business Plans.
∎ Develop contacts at a senior level with existing and prospective MFIs, Agent Banks, Cooperatives etc. to distribute GLIL Microinsurance products through their nationwide networks.
∎ Oversee the introduction of new products and tailoring of existing products to the Bangladesh Microinsurance market.
∎ Grow revenues by exploring new business opportunities to increase access to additional market segments.
∎ Maintaining and developing strong partnership relationships with the existing & prospective clients.
∎ Supervises overall the performance of the micro insurance sales team.
∎ Preparation of various statements for HoD.
∎ Identify industry best practices and ensure GLIL provides the best customer relationship experience and support to our customers.
∎ Recommend processes to increase customer satisfaction and retention.
∎ Engage customers in regular discussions to transfer knowledge about GLIL's product offerings/solutions and understand their issues/ concerns.
∎ Coordinating with customer servicing staff to ensure timely service.
∎ Provide feedback from market and customers to HoD for continuous improvement/ ideation for new product and processes.
∎ Provide accurate and timely competitor updates/ best practices.
∎ Recommend customized products meeting customers' need.
∎ Identify and meet customer needs and product gaps in total product/ service offering.
∎ Ensure products, services and operations are regulatory compliant.
∎ Review, monitor and report on market and competitor activities and take necessary measures to revise the company's plans if required to protect and aggressively grow market share.
