Educational Qualification:

Minimum B.Sc. in Fisheries

Preferred: M.Sc. in one of the following disciplines –

• Aquaculture

• Fisheries Management

• Fisheries Biology and Aquatic Environment

• Fisheries Genetics and Plant Breeding

• Oceanography and Marine Science

• 4 to 5 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO

• Age At least 25 years

• Good Communication skills.

• Experience in related fields preferred.

• Motorcycle Driving with valid driving License.

Experience Requirements:

• At least 4-5 years of experience in fisheries/agriculture/livelihood projects is preferable.

• Experience in market system development, aquaculture, and value chain facilitation will be an added advantage.

HEED Bangladesh is Non-Government and non-political National Organization working in the field of Health, Education and Economic Development for more than 50 (Fifty) years. The Organization invites applications from the suitable candidates for it's Rural Microenterprise Transformation Project (RMTP)' Project in Khulna and Bagherhat Area. Nature of job for Value Chain Facilitator Contractual& the Project Duration is up to December 2025

Job Responsibilities:

Field Implementation:

• Facilitate implementation of fish-related value chain activities in assigned working areas.

• Identify and mobilize Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs), input/service providers, traders, and other relevant actors.

• Organize and conduct training, demonstrations, and technical support sessions for fish farmers and entrepreneurs.

Market Development:

• Support local value chain actors in accessing market opportunities and establishing business linkages.

• Assist in forming and strengthening producer groups, clusters, or associations.

• Facilitate collaboration between producers and private sector actors including hatcheries, feed suppliers, and buyers.

Capacity Building:

• Provide regular mentoring, coaching, and advisory services to farmers and MSEs.

• Organize capacity development events (training, workshops, exposure visits).

Monitoring and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate field records, beneficiary databases, and activity logs.

• Regularly report progress, outcomes, and field-level challenges to the supervisor.

• Support in data collection for monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) purposes.

Coordination and Communication:

• Coordinate with local government departments (e.g., DoF, DAE), NGOs, and stakeholders.

• Represent the project at local meetings and events as required.

• Promote gender equality and social inclusion in all project activities.

• Transport Allowance: BDT 5,000/-

• Mobile Allowance: BDT 1,200/-
