Job Responsibilities:
∎ Carry out the functions and tasks associated to his/her specialty as a role model, i.e. perform as a vaccinator or register, whenever required or needed in order to ptimize the resources, contributing with his/her knowledge and experience.
∎ Organizing, training, and supervising the vaccination team in terms of planning and organizing their work, participating in training and evaluating its needs, regularly visiting vaccination sites under his/her responsibility, elaborating relevant material and establishing adequate strategies to ensure proper vaccination coverage for the community.
∎ Support the team to ensure that immunization services and practices are in line with national recommended guidelines, treatment protocols and consistent with international humanitarian standards and best practices.
∎ Ensuring delivery of essental information to parents or family members and community regarding vaccination and encourage them to recieve vaccine to protect themselves and prevent outbreak in the community.
∎ Maintaining confidentiality regarding all information observed or registered.
∎ Following up the team regarding safe vaccination practices, infection prevention control and waste management.
∎ Supporting the team members to ensure vaccination safety measures like -Understanding of vaccine types, correct preparation and dosages, correct administration of each vaccine by correct route and time and monitoring AEFI's.
∎ Reporting to line manager or medical team if there are people with medical problems, any difficulties that the vaccinators might encounter during vaccination in the community and any loss or damage of MSF materials and equipment.
∎ Identifying and supporting in addressing any challenges that arise during immunization activities implementation and communicating with line manager with possible solutions and opinions.
∎ Motivating and encouraging team to work in any emergency and challenging situation (e.g. Work on top of hill, during rain, in remote camps) and to hold MSF principles and values always during work in community.
∎ Support vaccination NTS to ensure that vaccines, equipment and supplies are available in a timely manner and regularly monitored through identification of gaps as per the need to each team.
∎ Ensuring safe and correct administration of vaccine according to the EPI schedule and requirement.
∎ Following the universal guidelines for management of vaccines (cold chain, administration such as preparing vaccine carrier, ice packs), reporting any anomaly, checking all vaccine vials (content, label, expiry date) before each session and disposing correctly of sharps after use.
∎ Supporting the team to ensure daily and monthly data collection and reporting to both MSF and MOH.
∎ Monitoring vaccine coverage and drop out. Monitoring the team following up defaulter list and coordinate with supportive partners to immunize them.
∎ Communicate often with the WHO HFM team and MOH to assist with addressing challenges arising during vaccine campaigns.
∎ Monitoring and Reporting of consumption of all items used in vaccination team and ordering regularly to prevent any ruptures in stock and to maintain normal flow of activities.
∎ Ensuring the team maintain proper documentation of vaccination status of each children both in register book and online method by e tracking.
∎ Participate and follow up the vaccination activities in both fixed and outreach sites in the camps.
∎ Maintaining teamwork and collaboration in the team.
∎ Perform any relevant task delegated by supervisor and/or line manager and monitoring and supervising the overall activities as a responsible person in absence of supervisor.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Working experience in MSF (1 year minimum) desirable
∎ Working experience in EPI program (6 month minimum) desirable or any diploma or certificate on paramedical/medical/nursing essential

Salary:
∎ Tk. 43300 - 51960 (Monthly)
∎ Salary according to level Four (04) of the internal MSF salary grid are 43300Taka BDT. Two annual leave days per month worked. Medical insurance for employee and direct dependents.
