Educational Requirements:
∎ Master degree in Management, journalism, communications, sociology, or related field from any reputed university.

Experience Requirements:
∎ 4 to 5 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ RHSTEP is the pioneer non-government organization in the arena of safe MR services and training for more than three decades in Bangladesh. RHSTEP has continuing its activities in 21 districts of Bangladesh. Every year approximately 6, 50,000 women, men including youth adolescents and children receive health care services, education and awareness support through its 31 centers. RHSTEP has been working with young people for more than 10 years to improving of their sexual and reproductive health & rights.
∎ RHSTEP has been working with UBR (Unite for Body Rights) program from January 2011-December 2015. Now RHSTEP is going to implement the UBR 2 project from January 2016 -December 2019 with the financial support of Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. THE UBR programs vision is to improve the SRHR situation of young people in Bangladesh by providing Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) in and out of school, access to service and improving health providers capacity to provide Youth Friendly Sexual and Reproductive Health (YFSRH) services; beside this working with influential person and communities to create an enabling environment in which young people can exercise their SRH rights.
∎ RHSTEP is looking for Qualified Personnel for its UBR 2 project of the above position:
∎ A. Management
∎ Day to day management of activities planned for the Upazila under the project
∎ Mentoring and support the field staff to implement their individual activity plan as well as let them identify the challenges and support them to develop mechanism to resolve the situation.
∎ Conduct monthly staff meeting and supervise the subordinate staff to ensure program performance.
∎ Supervise and monitor the project activities through regular field visit.
∎ Ensure that each staff has job description, and performing their duty accordingly.
∎ Conduct periodic staff performance appraisal.
∎ Arrange training /Orientation for new staff to implement the program smoothly.
∎ Taking leading role in obtaining all types of required registrations from government department as per program need.
∎ Keep proper filing on Clinic license, renewal, letter of appreciation etc.
∎ Lead the program to earn targeted revenue from service charge
∎ B. Programmatic
∎ Act as a advocacy focal point at Upazilla level
∎ Develop rapport with Govt. agencies, identify opportunities in advocacy areas and coordinate advocacy meeting /activities as per guidelines
∎ Ensure media coverage and engage media professional in order to promote UBR activities in the area.
∎ Prepare and submission of program reports to PM in time
∎ C. Coordination & Public Relation
∎ Good relation with Teachers and SMT of EDIs to run the CSE (comprehensive sexuality education) in EDIs.
∎ Coordinate with GOB (especially with District & Upazila Family Planning, Education, Youth, Health, Children and Women Affairs, Social Welfare) and other NGOs to run project activities smoothly.
∎ Attend monthly coordination meeting at DC Office
∎ D. Financial and Logistics
∎ Ensure utilization of budget effectively
∎ Ensure that all logistics are procured/collected as per requirement including contraceptives and medicine
∎ Ensure proper storage and distribution of contraceptives and medicines
∎ Ensure compliance of organizational financial policy and guideline
∎ Ensure adequate financial control, proper governing and monitoring to the expenditure of funds as per guideline
∎ Ensure compliance of audit recommendations
∎ E. At Alliance level
∎ Participate in Annual review and planning meeting (as per Program Coordinator's instruction).
∎ Participate in UMs meeting for sharing and learning
∎ Participate in capacity building initiatives organized by the alliance or organization.
∎ Extend cooperation to other partners as and when required.
∎ Carry out other duties as assigned by the authority.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Project implementation and supervision with multi level stakeholders. Experience in adolescent reproductive health interventions a significant plus.
∎ Having interesting work for youth in a youth friendly manner with utmost privacy & confidentiality
∎ Capable to carry out planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the ongoing project, therefore, requires frequent field visit and travel to central office.
∎ Having good communication and interpersonal skills, are able to maintain liaison and coordination with government, donor and the networks through teamwork.
∎ Having good computer skills on MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and using internet.
∎ Having good understanding on budgeting and financial management.
∎ Experienced in organizing consultation, workshops, seminar with high level stake holders and knowledge on women empowerment, gender equality and boarder development.
∎ Strong client orientation and service approach with personal commitment.
∎ Well developed skills in priority setting, problem solving and writing
∎ Fluency in oral and written English and Bangla.

Salary: Tk. 37815 (Monthly)
