Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)/ equivalent including master's in public health/ Population Science/ Development studies /Social sciences from any reputed national or international university.

Experience Requirements:
∎ 4 to 5 year(s)

Job Context:
∎ RHSTEP is the pioneer non-government organization in the arena of SRHR with special focus on MR and family planning services and training for near four decades in Bangladesh. RHSTEP is implementing its activities in 20 districts across the Bangladesh through its 27 centers in public hospitals and own clinics and youth focused resource centers.
∎ Duty Station: RHSTEP Central Office, Mirpur DOHS, Dhaka.
∎ Reportable to: Director (Program)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Manager (Program) will be responsible for overall implementation of "Safe MR Project" of RHSTEP including planning, budgeting, monitoring & evaluation, people management and Reporting.
∎ Developing a project implementation guideline/Manual for smooth implementation of the project;
∎ Provide guidance and mentoring support to the project staff at central and field level for ensuring full implementation of the project work plan and allocated budget and report accordingly to the concerned authority(s);
∎ Develop project staff development plan and ensure capacity Building of staff accordingly.
∎ Represent the organization in partners and other stakeholder's including concerned government authorities meetings as and when necessary.
∎ Establish and nurture network and relationship with partner organizations, relevant government counterparts, NGOs, readymade garments Authorities and other stakeholders;
∎ Take necessary steps to collect trainees from DGFP, DGHS, DGNM and other service providing organizations for the project purpose.
∎ Facilitation of Training sessions; meetings, workshop, discussion sessions at national and local level
∎ Assist/take initiative for developing Proposal, concept note, Expression of Interest etc. for raising fund for the organization;
∎ Preparation of Quality monthly, quarterly and annual program reports along with financial reports and timely submission to the authorities concerned;
∎ Spent a reasonable time to visit site and facilities and reporting including any discrepancy, challenge observed in budget tracking and activity implementation and take prompt, necessary actions to solve problem and overcome challenges;
∎ Perform other related responsibilities assigned by the reporting authority and higher management.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Substantial program management experience in reproductive health especially on Menstrual Regulation, Post abortion Care, Family Planning focused project implementation
∎ Experience in Training on Menstrual Regulation, Post abortion Care and Family Planning.
∎ Familiarity with effective financial and budgetary control and experience of managing grants, contracts & sub agreements.
∎ Previous experience of managing and developing a team and the ability to lead, motivate and develop others.
∎ Excellent interpersonal communication, facilitation and presentation skills.
∎ Experience working within a complex and matrix organization structure and with time pressure.
∎ Fluency in English and Bangla and interest to travel in the field up to 50% of time.
∎ Experience in fielding research on health issues in the country context.

Salary:
∎ 81,200/- (Consolidated)
