∎ Experience and skilled in the field of Child Protection, Child rights & GBV;
∎ Strong communication, interpersonal, and advocacy skills;
∎ Strong knowledge and skills on training management;
∎ In-depth Knowledge on relevant issues;
∎ Demonstrated hands-on skills on MS Office packages including Microsoft Office, Excel, Power point, internet, e-mail, KOBO Toolkit etc.;
∎ Ability to work in challenging environments and handle difficult situations;
∎ Strong communication, interpersonal, and advocacy skills.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Ensuring project activities are implemented as planned in the Upazila level;
∎ Building relationships with local communities, including community leaders, teachers, and parents, to raise awareness;
∎ Coordination, communication and liaison with government authorities, local government institution, law enforcement agency, health department, educational institution, NGOs and relevant stakeholders;
∎ Regular monitoring of field activities to ensure that they align with project goals and strategies;
∎ Developing and maintaining effective referral systems for children in need of legal, medical, ensuring timely responses and services.
∎ Job Context:
∎ Gana Unnayan Kendra (GUK) is looking for a suitable candidate for the position of ‘Upazila Coordinator’ for ‘Bangladesh-America Maitree Project’ which is finance by USAID and supported by BRAC. The project duration is November 12, 2024 to November 11, 2027. The theme of the project is to prevention of child marriage and gender based violence.
∎ Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensuring project activities are implemented as planned in the Upazila level;
∎ Building relationships with local communities, including community leaders, teachers, and parents, to raise awareness;
∎ Coordination, communication and liaison with government authorities, local government institution, law enforcement agency, health department, educational institution, NGOs and relevant stakeholders;
