Job Context:
∎ Bangladesh Initiative to Enhance Nutrition Security and Governance (BIeNGS) funded by European Union.
∎ The overall objective is to improve maternal and child nutrition in six sub districts of in rural and nutritionally vulnerable areas of Jamalpur and Sherpur districts of Bangladesh by promoting multi sector pro poor governance models and nutrition interventions.
∎ Project Locations: Jamalpur & Sherpur.
∎ This position has overall responsibility for the management of all project activities of "Bangladesh Initiative to Enhance Nutrition Security and Governance (BIeNGS)" in the assigned Upazila. This project is for 5 years .The Upazila Coordinator (UC) will responsible for overall implementation of the Project`s activities in the local area coordinating with the partner/s. He/she will also supervise three Project Officers and Accounts and Administrative Officers. This project will cover smallholder farmers (Marginal & ultra-poor) and their households in Jamalpur and Sherpur districts under Mymensingh division.
∎ S/he will be representing the project in the Upazila level with Government office especially health authorities, Agriculture extension, local partners, Harvest Plus and EuropeAid. S/he will also represent World Vision Bangladesh in the Upazila level.
∎ The Upazila Coordinator is accountable for the successful delivery of the goal and outcomes the project and will regularly report progress in achieving them at Upazila level. S/he will support the Project Manager in planning, budget preparing, training & workshops facilitation; prepare all reports and document properly on time and all other required activities to ensure smooth operations of the project. S/he will also be responsible for managing the field level implementation of the partners of the project. Conduct regular meeting and follow up with partners and will provide necessary support to the field team.
∎ This position will report to the Project Manager of this project. S/he is also accountable to the Regional Field Director of Greater Mymensingh Region, World Vision Bangladesh. S/he will also interact with the Team Leader of this project.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide leadership in achieving the goal and outcomes of the project mobilizing, staff and local partners and other project resources at Upazila level
∎ Manage Upazila team and build their capacity
∎ Lead technical and support team members in project implementation in accordance with the standards of programming and the requirements of WV and the donor including financial and M & E functions
∎ Manages the relationship with local partners and Government counterpart ensuring that project objectives under which they are responsible are achieved, its field implementation are managed and coordinated
∎ Performs other duties as may be assigned by the WVB
∎ Strengthen relationship with partners
∎ Planning, motoring & budgeting as per project design
∎ Reporting to WVB management and donor/s as per requirements
∎ Capacity building initiative for project staff as well as partner
∎ Project Management: Overall Leadership in delivering the Project Goal & outcomes
∎ Project Implementation: Accomplished the project activities as per design
∎ Financial Management/ Policy adherence: Accountability and quality management system in place
∎ Team Management & Development: Impacted community and staff by Christian commitments and effective leadership
∎ Partnering, Networking & Advocacy: Improved working relationship with internal/ external stakeholders
∎ Reporting and Documentation
∎ Ensured reporting and documentation

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Strong organizational and management skills, with proven track record of managing people
∎ Strong problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills
∎ Good knowledge and skills in forecasting and budgeting
