Job Context:
∎ RDRS Bangladesh is implementing `Building better Future for Girls: Supporting a District action plan to end child marriage in Kurigram` Project. Financial and technical support provided by Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency, SIDA and Plan International Bangladesh. Interested candidates are requested to apply for the above position.
∎ Job Location: Upazila level in Kurigram District

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Upazila Coordinator will supervise the Union Facilitators of that particular sub-district.
∎ Initiate and ensure technical and management support in effective planning and proper implementation of the project activities relating to child marriage protection, advocacy, Capacity building of communities and project staff to achieve the project outputs.
∎ Organize and conduct upazila/district level workshop with GO/NGO and training, orientation, campaign, gathering, day observance, exchange/exposure visit etc;
∎ Arrange social event like Peoples' Theater, Folk Song, & Rural Cinema show as per plan;
∎ Assist CBOs for strengthening youth, women forum & adolescent group in the areas of child marriage protection issues; development issues; sports & cultural issues & volunteerisms etc;
∎ Overall responsible to implement the project activities at Upazila level;
∎ Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual report both numeric & narrative, produce case study and success story and send to Project Coordinator;
∎ Provide professional and technical support to the Union Facilitators;
∎ Regular and frequent field visit to find out possibilities, identify problems, assess and follow-up activities being implemented and provide appropriate suggestion to field level staffs;
∎ awareness raising, networking, civic engagement, governance etc;
∎ Monitor and evaluate project progress to reach the target within the life of the project;
∎ Maintain necessary liaison at Upazila level with government line agencies and other related stakeholders in connection with project activities, information sharing and field implementation;
∎ Conduct staff appraisal and design necessary action plan for staff development and implement it accordingly;

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 3 years relevant experience preferably in managerial level;
∎ Experience in working on Rights Based Approach, Women and Child Rights issues to be preferred;
∎ Sound knowledge in Child Marriage Protection, Related Law and Policy, Governance, Advocacy, Community Mobilization etc.;
∎ Good interpersonal and facilitation skill;
∎ Strong verbal and written skills in both Bangla and English.
∎ Good understanding of MS-Office applications and Internet Navigation is necessary.
∎ Capable of preparing narrative and numerical report in English;
∎ Strong leadership quality and ability to work under pressure;
∎ Willingness to visit field activities frequently and candidate must have valid motorcycle driving license.

Salary: Tk. 43868 (Monthly)
