• Must Be MBBS or FCPS

• Hands-on experience with modern ultrasound and Doppler machines.

• Strong knowledge of abdominal, pelvic, obstetric, gynecological, thyroid, breast, renal, hepatobiliary, and vascular ultrasound.

• Experience in Color Doppler and other advanced ultrasound examinations will be an advantage.

• Ability to identify clinically significant findings and prepare accurate, concise diagnostic reports.

• Ability to handle a high volume of patients while maintaining diagnostic accuracy.

• Good understanding of patient safety, infection control, and medical ethics.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively with consultants, physicians, technicians, and other healthcare professionals.

• Willingness to work in shifts, weekends, or emergency cases, if required.

• Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and professional standards.Regular participation in CME/training programs and keeping up with advances in ultrasound technology.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while appropriately referring complex cases.

• Bengali and English communication skills preferred.

• Candidates with experience in a hospital, diagnostic center, or specialized imaging center will receive preference.

1. Perform and interpret ultrasonography (USG) examinations according to clinical requirements.

2. Review patient history, clinical information, and previous diagnostic reports before performing examinations.

3. Conduct abdominal, pelvic, hepatobiliary, renal, thyroid, breast, obstetric, vascular, and other relevant ultrasound examinations within professional competence.

4. Perform obstetric ultrasound examinations, including fetal assessment, gestational age estimation, fetal growth, placenta, amniotic fluid, and fetal wellbeing as appropriate.

5. Identify and evaluate abnormal findings and provide accurate diagnostic impressions.

6. Prepare clear, accurate, and timely ultrasound reports for referring physicians.

7. Maintain proper documentation of examinations, findings, measurements, and images.

8. Communicate significant or urgent findings promptly to the referring physician or appropriate medical team.

9. Ensure proper patient identification, examination protocols, privacy, and informed communication.

10. Operate ultrasound equipment safely and ensure appropriate image quality.

11. Coordinate with radiologists, physicians, gynecologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals when required.

12. Follow hospital/diagnostic-center protocols, infection-control procedures, and professional medical standards.

13. Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with applicable healthcare regulations.

14. Participate in quality assurance, clinical meetings, and continuing medical education.

15. Ensure proper maintenance and reporting of technical problems with ultrasound equipment.

16. Provide guidance to junior medical staff, sonographers, or trainees when applicable.

17. Maintain professional, respectful, and compassionate communication with patients and their attendants.
