Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in transport/logistics supervision, preferably in a multi-sector group of companies.
- Experience with ambulance or medical logistics is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of fleet management systems and route planning tools.

Responsibilities & Context: Position Summary
The Transport Supervisor is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all transportation activities across the group’s business units. This includes managing company vehicles, drivers, logistics scheduling, maintenance arrangements, compliance with safety protocols, and ensuring smooth transport operations for employees, goods, and operational needs of Real Estate projects, Super Shop supply chains, and Healthcare/Hospital services.
Key Responsibilities
1. Transport Operations Management
- Coordinate daily transport activities for all business segments: project sites (Real Estate), product distribution (Super Shop), and patient/medical logistics (Healthcare/Hospital).
- Ensure timely movement of goods, equipment, and personnel according to operational requirements.
- Prepare transport schedules and route plans to optimize time and cost efficiency.
- Monitor vehicle deployment and adjust as needed to meet urgent or priority demands.
2. Vehicle & Asset Management
- Oversee the management of all company vehicles, including school busses, delivery vans, and staff transport.
- Maintain up-to-date records of vehicle fitness, insurance, registration, and documentation.
- Arrange timely servicing, repair, and preventive maintenance to minimize breakdowns.
- Track fuel consumption and ensure proper documentation to reduce misuse and wastage.
3. Driver Supervision & Compliance
- Supervise drivers, riders, and transport support staff; manage duty rosters and shift allocations.
- Ensure drivers follow traffic rules, company policies, and safety standards.
- Conduct regular briefings on safe driving practices and emergency procedures.
- Handle performance evaluations, training needs, and disciplinary issues when necessary.
4. Coordination With Business Units
- Liaise with the Real Estate project team, warehouse/supply chain team (Super Shop), and healthcare administration to understand their transport needs.
- Ensure high responsiveness for medical emergency transport (ambulances, medical supply deliveries).
- Assist procurement, admin, and operations departments with transport-related planning and budgeting.
5. Monitoring, Reporting & Documentation
- Keep accurate logs of trips, mileage, fuel usage, and transport expenses.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly transport operation reports.
- Maintain a database of vehicle tracking records (GPS) and monitor movement in real time.
- Identify areas for performance improvement and recommend solutions to management.
6. Safety, Security & Compliance
- Ensure all vehicles meet safety and compliance standards.
- Implement transport safety protocols, especially for medical cargo and emergency transport.
- Investigate accidents or transport-related incidents and prepare reports.
- Ensure compliance with local transport laws, licensing requirements, and company policies.
