Responsibilities & Context:
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain in-house Level-1 workshop for general servicing of all transports.
Carryout initial assessment and identify problems of commercial transports (diesel engine) and other transports (petrol engine) before forwarding to third party workshop for heavy maintenance.
Remain updated on automobile maintenance industry technological advancement and new spares.
Conduct assessment to identify and recommend best/appropriate workshops for heavy maintenance works or expert jobs
Maintain required spares store through efficient assessment/ timely requisition/ effective usages.
Monitor vehicle availability for efficient vehicle operations.
Ensure all vehicles are roadworthy, properly maintained, and serviced as per approved schedules and manufacturer guidelines.
Ensure preventive/corrective maintenance, repairs, servicing, tyre /battery replacement, and related workshop/vendor activities.
Maintain accurate records of vehicle, servicing, repairs, fuel, mileage, and statutory documents.
Monitor fuel consumption, mileage, maintenance costs, and other operating expenses to control costs and improve fleet efficiency.
Coordinate breakdown support, roadside assistance, accident response, vehicle recovery, and related reporting.
Maintain proper documentation and support audits, inspections, and compliance requirements.
Perform other transport/vehicle maintenance related duties assigned by management.
