Responsibilities & Context:

· Manage and supervise all construction equipment, plant, machinery, and vehicles deployed at the project site.

· Manage equipment including, but not limited to - Concrete transit mixers, Concrete batching plants, Generators, Mobile and crawler cranes, Dump trucks, Wheel loaders, Excavators, Rollers and compactors, Water tankers, Pavers and other road construction equipment, Other construction machinery and supporting equipment.

· Maintain an updated equipment register showing equipment identification, location, condition, ownership, operating status, and utilization.

· Coordinate daily equipment allocation with Construction, Planning, Procurement, Store, and other relevant departments.

· Monitor equipment utilization, working hours, idle time, fuel consumption, and operational efficiency.

· Develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules for all major equipment.

· Coordinate routine servicing, inspection, repair, and emergency breakdown maintenance.

· Diagnose equipment-related problems and coordinate with mechanics, technicians, operators, and external service providers for timely repairs.

· Monitor the availability of spare parts, lubricants, tires, batteries, and other equipment maintenance requirements in coordination with the Procurement and Store departments.

· Maintain records of equipment maintenance, repair history, operating hours, fuel consumption, breakdowns, and spare parts replacement.

· Ensure compliance with project requirements and applicable safety procedures during equipment operation and maintenance.

· Perform other equipment- and machinery-related duties assigned by the management.
