Job Context:
∎ The USAID Feed the Future Bangladesh Improving Trade and Business Enabling Environment activity (BITBEE) will support the Government of Bangladesh (GOB) to bolster economic growth and food security by improving trade facilitation, enhancing market access, and improving the business enabling market.
∎ The training specialist will design a training course on customer-centered service delivery and tools to improve public service delivery in Bangladesh.
∎ Please read the job qualifications and responsibilities below carefully. Only applicants meeting or exceeding the required qualifications will be considered.
∎ Employment Status: Non-Permanent Contractual Employee
∎ Period of Performance: November 1, 2020 to January 31, 2021

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare the list of invitees to attend the training (employees of government bodies tasked with implementation of eService delivery, policy makers, Parliament members, NGOs/civil society, academia, media, citizens)
∎ Assist FtF-BITBEE to identify joint activities and support areas for Aspire 2 Innovate, Bangladesh Computer Council and other government bodies on e-Governance and e-service delivery, capacity building related to eGovernance and eService delivery
∎ Assist FtF-BITBEE to prepare a joint work-plan and provide support during preparation and signing of memorandums of understanding
∎ Draft the work plan's list of joint activities and support areas for Aspire 2 Innovate, Bangladesh Computer Council and other government bodies on e-Governance and e-service delivery

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 7 years of experience in eGovernance and e-governance education
∎ Demonstrated knowledge of e-governance development (strategy and implementation).
∎ Preferred experience in the policy development process associated with e-governance development in Bangladesh
∎ Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity
∎ Fluency in written and spoken English and Bengali

Salary:
∎ Negotiable based on experience, qualifications, and salary history.
