Educational Requirements:
∎ Diploma in Civil
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ S/he will be responsible for developing a sanitation catalog and audio visual training materials for sanitation entrepreneurs
∎ Develop and conduct assessments (deep dives, audits, and inspections) of sanitation systems, procedures, and manual cleaning practices at plants for compliance to standards and identification of opportunities for sanitation entrepreneurs' business improvement
∎ Develop a design for affordable WASH technologies and assist in building and improving toilets by local sanitation entrepreneurs
∎ Conduct training need assessment and develop training calendar for the local sanitation entrepreneurs
∎ Organise and facilitate sanitation entrepreneurs capacity building trainings
∎ Monitoring and following up on entrepreneurs businesses or activities and providing necessary technical guidance to ensure product quality.
∎ Close and proactive support to ASA frontline staffs to ensure demand creation, disburse water and sanitation credit, and ensure the installation of WASH technologies by credit borrowers.
∎ Frequent field visits and support for the sanitation entrepreneurs to scale up their businesses at the community level help them accumulate field learnings, good practices and disseminate them through the proper channel.
∎ Assist the project coordinator in preparing monthly, quarterly, biannual & annual work plan and budget, as well as the monthly, quarterly, biannual progress report.
∎ Any other assignments given by the supervisor
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Additional Job Requirements:
∎ Specific knowledge in WASH product/s (water and sanitation) design and implementation
∎ Experience in working with community and community mobilisation
∎ Additional Skills
∎ Strong interpersonal skills and well-developed written and oral communication skills in English and Bengali
∎ Computer literacy, including the ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
∎ Able to operate virtual platform, like Skype, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc.
Salary:
∎ Negotiable
∎ Negotiable but not less than 45,000 (BDT)
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ T/A, Mobile bill, Weekly 2 holidays
∎ Salary Review: Yearly
∎ Festival Bonus: 2
