∎ In-depth Knowledge on relevant issues;
∎ Experience and skilled in the field of Child Protection, Child rights & GBV;
∎ Demonstrated hands-on skills on MS Office packages including Microsoft Office, Excel, Power point, internet, e-mail, KOBO Toolkit etc.;
∎ Ability to work in challenging environments and handle difficult situations;
∎ Strong communication, interpersonal, and advocacy skills.
∎ Strong knowledge and skills on training management;

∎ Conducting training needs assessments to identify gaps in knowledge and skills among target groups, including NGO staff, local partners, community workers, and government officials;
∎ Developing training module, manual and materials;
∎ Organizing and facilitating training workshops, seminars, and awareness-raising sessions on different topics;
∎ Assessment of training programs;
∎ Documentation and reporting of all training sessions.
∎ Job Context:
∎ Gana Unnayan Kendra (GUK) is looking for a suitable candidate for the position of ‘Training Officer’ for ‘Bangladesh-America Maitree Project’ which is finance by USAID and supported by BRAC. The project duration is November 12, 2024 to November 11, 2027. The theme of the project is to prevention of child marriage and gender based violence.
∎ Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conducting training needs assessments to identify gaps in knowledge and skills among target groups, including NGO staff, local partners, community workers, and government officials;
∎ Developing training module, manual and materials;
∎ Organizing and facilitating training workshops, seminars, and awareness-raising sessions on different topics;
∎ Assessment of training programs;
∎ Documentation and reporting of all training sessions.
