Responsibilities & Context:
Customer Assistance: Greet customers warmly, understand their needs and provide guidance on selecting Home furnishing fabrics based on their preferences and requirements.
Product Knowledge: Maintain in-depth knowledge of different types of curtain fabrics, upholstery fabrics, synthetic leather, sheers, including materials, durability, textures, colors and pricing.
Sales & Upselling: Recommend suitable fabrics, patterns and complementary accessories while upselling related products to maximize sales.
Fabric Display & Maintenance: Organize fabric samples, maintain an attractive store display and ensure fabric rolls are neatly arranged.
Order Processing: Assist customers with fabric measurements, pricing calculations and placing orders.
Stock Management: Keep track of fabric stock, report low inventory levels and coordinate with the outlet manager/in-charge, inventory department for restocking.
Billing & Payment Handling: Process customer payments accurately using the store’s billing system and handle cash or digital transactions efficiently.
Customer Follow-Up: Maintain customer records, follow up on orders and provide after-sales service to ensure customer satisfaction.
Market Awareness: Stay updated on the latest fabric trends, design styles, colors competitor pricing and quality to assist customers effectively.
Team Coordination: Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth store operations and achieve sales targets.
Follow the Chain-of-Work: To complete a task, every step in the workflow must be followed in sequence. Additionally, all relevant staff in the chain must be informed at each stage of the process.
