Managing Sales Distribution: Responsibilities include managing sales distribution to achieve monthly targets through widespread coverage of all towns in the territory, conducting necessary sales calls, visiting display outlets to enhance standards, and promptly addressing customer complaints. Ensuring optimal service levels for stockist credit, visit frequency, and collections is also a key focus.
Stokiest Management: Responsibilities include overseeing stockist infrastructure, such as unit maintenance and staffing levels, ensuring timely physical stock clearance, reviewing interim sales, briefing stockists on monthly activities, facilitating cheque encashment, coordinating stock receipt from transporters, and visiting banks for overdue cheques.
Administration: Responsibilities include preparing monthly reports and claims, managing damages and shortage claims, maintaining ledgers, and ensuring up-to-date file management.
People Management: Responsibilities include training DVSMs and briefing them on monthly activities, setting targets, and developing action plans.
