∎ At least 5 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for the Product Development process for all the woven departments, providing full support to the teams in Halle by understanding the product offer from the region
∎ Oversee all technical pre-production and bulk production activities as relates to fit, construction, workmanship.
∎ Review the technical specification details provided by HQ to resolve any issues/discrepancies with the relevant Technical Designers before passing to the supplier and recommending garment construction and engineering changes in the pre-production stage for more cost-effective manufacturing.
∎ Approve proto samples, salesman samples and size set samples, ensuring they match with the counter sample and product specifications.
∎ Build and maintain solid working relationships with all colleagues, communicating with them on all production issues.
∎ Utilize all internal support systems and ensure that efficient and effective forms, reports and other administrative tools are being employed to control all pre-production and technical responsibilities.
∎ Conducting quality inspections from proto-stage throughout bulk production until bulk delivery.
∎ Responsible to implement Gerry Weber quality standard to all assigned products/styles.
∎ Keep an overview of the production locations and report immediately if any changes occur
∎ Other tasks as assigned

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 25 years
∎ 5+ experience in Textile technical related field, ideally as Technician
∎ Hands-on ability to conduct inspections (sample & bulk)
∎ Denim / Washer experience is a plus
