Job Context:
∎ Partners in Health and Development (PHD) is a not-for-profit organization, working in Bangladesh for more than 3 decades towards improving the life of the people, particularly of marginalized and the less privileged. With Technical Support from Plan International, Partners in Health and Development is going to implement Global Affairs Canada (GAC) funded “Lifting Healthy, Empowered and Protected Girls and Women in Cox’s Bazar (LEAP)” project in Cox’s Bazar. LEAP will employ a comprehensive, integrated programmatic approach by engaging a variety of stakeholders and facilitating gender- and adolescent-responsive and inclusive (GARI), Sextual and Reproductive Health and Right (SRHR), Sextual Gender Based Violence (SGBV) and Mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) services by strengthening government health systems, including establishing/strengthening referral linkages (from community to health facilities and between different sectors) to bring transformative change among the most at-risk adolescent girls and young women in host communities and camps.
∎ This role will play a significant role to the implementation of LEAP project in Cox’s Bazar and focus on protection, gender equality and sexual and reproductive health rights (SRHR). The purpose of this position will provide support to the community ensure an inclusive, adolescent-friendly and gender-transformative social behaviour change and communication (SBCC) strategy for women, girls, men and boys and SRHR. The post holder will be responsible for the delivery of results in line with pre agreed program plans and objectives and oversees program implementation at all stages throughout the project duration. This position also includes regional advocacy and networking, strategic thematic area planning, developing and strengthening partnerships and mainstreaming of the empowerment of women and girl’s community development.

∎ SRHR officer will be responsible for overseeing implementation and monitoring while ensuring quality program delivery of the overall sexual and reproductive health rights in respective program area and promote gender transformative approach to SRHR.
∎ Provide timely coordination and guidance to the SRHR mentors in the delivery of SRHR activities
∎ Provide technical support to SRH programming including, technical oversight and field monitoring of program staff, in close coordination with the project coordinator.
∎ Make strategic plan and Guide SRH mentors to conduct the activities properly ensuring quality on the basis of strategic plan
∎ Ensure quality and timely reporting and documentation of the project activities including preparation of quarterly/yearly program progress reports and work closely with M & E
∎ Responsible to Conduct different meeting with the government stakeholders to share project activity updates and challenges
∎ Undertake any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisors.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 2 years’ experience in the field of SRHR.
∎ Sound knowledge on SRHR and advocacy with relevant government stakeholders.
∎ Excellent planning, analytical, organizational and decision-making skills
∎ Excellent communication skills including writing and speaking skill in English
∎ Basic IT skill (MS word, MS power point, internet browsing & e-mail communications)
Salary:
∎ 50,000 – 55,000/ Per month (Tax will be deducted at source)
