∎ Bachelor of Arts (BA)

∎ At least 2 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Guide and assist WASH committee in community mobilization and sanitization for WASH activities.
∎ Facilitate and supervise weekly hygiene awareness campaigns in markets and public areas in project areas also provide technical support for CHPs through WASH committee in Mobilization for Hygiene and Sanitation campaigns.
∎ Conduct daily monitoring visit to WASH facilities to ensure that the whole WASH system are well functional with less risks and other WASH facilities through community hygiene promoters, to ensure best uses.
∎ Liaise with engineers in General cleaning up campaign and ensure that solid waste is well and safely disposed.
∎ Provide detail plan and Post Distribution Monitoring (PDM) for Hygiene kits and top up kits distribution beside other hygiene materials.
∎ Ensure coordination and collaboration with Ministry of health and hygiene and AWD technical working group.
∎ Design BCC/IEC materials & hygiene promotion training materials and set up training action plan in coordination with Focal agency hygiene expert.
∎ Lead PHAST and CHAST approaches to conduct awareness campaigns in the camp and leaning centers.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so
Additional Requirements:
∎ Good knowledge of water and sanitation issues, and hygiene practice.
∎ Good knowledge in engineering designs of WASH infrastructure.
∎ Knowledge of MS Office, MS Excel and AutoCad.
∎ Good communication skill in both English and Bengali.
∎ Leadership skills & teamwork spirit
∎ Have good understanding of Humanitarian WASH activities.
∎ Have good negotiation skills
