Job Context:
∎ Partners in Health and Development (PHD) is a not-for-profit organization, working in Bangladesh for more than 3 decades towards improving the life of the people, particularly of marginalized and the less privileged. With Technical Support from Plan International, Partners in Health and Development is going to implement Global Affairs Canada (GAC) funded “Lifting Healthy, Empowered and Protected Girls and Women in Cox’s Bazar (LEAP)” project in Cox’s Bazar. LEAP will employ a comprehensive, integrated programmatic approach by engaging a variety of stakeholders and facilitating gender- and adolescent-responsive and inclusive (GARI), Sextual and Reproductive Health and Right (SRHR), Sextual Gender Based Violence (SGBV) and Mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) services by strengthening government health systems, including establishing/strengthening referral linkages (from community to health facilities and between different sectors) to bring transformative change among the most at-risk adolescent girls and young women in host communities and camps.
∎ Under the direct supervision Guidance of the Project Coordinator Technical officer, GBV will be responsible to ensure quality implementation of the LEAP project in Cox’s Bazar & Teknaf Upazila in relation to GBV prevention and it’s appropriate reporting as well as will maintain liaise with other government and non-government stakeholders.
∎ Employment Status: Full time, Contractual.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ To Provide overall coordination, implementation and reporting of GBV related activities of the project in the intervention areas.
∎ Provide technical support and day to day guidance to the case management workers to ensure the standards and appropriate procedure of GBV case management.
∎ Maintain liaise with the facility and others SGBV service providers to strengthen linkage between community, health facility and relevant SGBV case management service providers.
∎ To ensure regular supervision, conduct case review meetings with case workers and case conferences to reflect on progress and to accommodate the lessons learned and improve case management system accordingly.
∎ Identify training needs for the case workers and support the organization and facilitation of training to meet those needs, in collaboration with the other project staffs.
∎ Collaborate with other partner organization to ensure referrals to other services such as psychosocial support, Mental health and education/livelihoods interventions.
∎ Ensure clients information is securely collected, stored and only shared on the need-to-know basis
∎ Undertake regular field monitoring visits to assess progress and identify technical quality issues and other implementation issues, provide solutions and implement modifications as required
∎ Provide support to develop GBV related IEC materials.
∎ Take the lead in project planning, and oversee implementation and budget expenditures to ensure effective use of resources against planned activities and expected outputs.
∎ Prepare and submit weekly, monthly and quarterly reports in timely manner.
∎ Undertake any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisors.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 3 years’ experience in the development field along with 2 years of experience in GVB project.
∎ Sound knowledge on GBV and GBV Case Management.
∎ Excellent planning, analytical, organizational and decision-making skills
∎ Good working relationships with colleagues, partners, external actors and allies
∎ Basic IT skills (MS word, Ms Excel MS power point, internet browsing & e-mail communications)

Salary:
∎ 50,000 – 55,000/Per month (Tax will be deducted at source)
