Job Context:
∎ EngenderHealth Bangladesh is seeking applications from highly qualified Medical Graduates (MBBS) candidates for the following position of an USAID-funded FP Project based in Dhaka:
∎ PROGRAM : Marketing Innovation for Sustainable Health Development (MISHD)
∎ REPORTS TO : Project Coordinator of MISHD
∎ JOB SUMMARY
∎ This is a mid level program staff position of the MISHD/EHB project of EngenderHealth Bangladesh working directly under the supervision of the Project Coordinator. This person will be responsible for supporting the strengthening LARC, PM and Injectable training in the private sector, and advancing state-of-the-art (SOTA) approaches and best practices, for identifying new and effective program modules and approaches to strengthen quality LARC, PM and Injectable services in an integrated fashion. He/she will be responsible to build up capacity and institutionalization of clinical and non clinical training within local organization. He or she will work closely with other team members and with other teams across the project to ensure that project activities complement and build on work done in other areas. He/she will ensure that latest clinical guidelines and standards are followed in all technical areas of the project. He/she will have to be involved in organizing clinical training and development of training materials, and job aids. He/she will have to travel within the country for at least 60-70% of his/her time for implementing the program.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The incumbent will have to perform the following duties/tasks:
∎ Assess private service delivery sites including training needs of providers, and training organization's capabilities for planning, designing and setting up of clinical contraceptive service delivery and training programs.
∎ Identify and overcome barriers related to LARC, PM and Injectable services delivery that include skill building of the private service providers and institutionalization of clinical training including RH/FP counseling and clinical supervision within local organizations of private sector.
∎ Develop skill of the service providers performing long-acting/permanent methods (LA/PMs) through providing coaching on site trainee follow-up and setting up long distance innovative ways of providing support.
∎ Provide support on different associated aspect like Infection Prevention (IP), counseling, informed choice & voluntarism and facilitative supervision.
∎ Conduct trainee follow-up, participate in evaluation activities including assessment of client's right, voluntarism and informed choice/decision making of family planning acceptors.
∎ Write reports and documents in connection with the implementation of the different program activities.
∎ Work for preparing different training materials, review and update service delivery guidelines, job aids as a part of the program activities.
∎ Interact with supervisors, other team members, and stakeholders at central level and community level to implementing the program activities.
∎ Assist the Project Coordinator and Head of EngenderHealth Bangladesh in activities as and when assigned.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Have at least 5 years of experience working in the field of family planning as service provider providing long acting reversible contraceptives and permanent methods of family planning and other reproductive health issues.
∎ Have capability to organize different types of training and experience to work as a clinical trainer for sterilization, Implant, IUD, PPIUD, Injectable including SAYANA Press, Infection Prevention Practices and RH/FP counseling etc.
∎ Should have experience to work with public, private and NGO sector to implement the project activities and strengthen long term and permanent FP methods service delivery in Bangladesh.
∎ Must be fluent in English and Bangla speaking and writing.
∎ Trained on LARC and PM capacity development and service delivery at public and private facilities at local level
∎ Have skills of transferring knowledge and clinical skills to the clinical trainers and service providers, and have capabilities and intentions to change attitude of the clinical service providers, trainee, and trainers.
