Experience:

• Master of Arts (MA) in Social Science
• Master of Arts (MA) in Development Studies

• Masters in Social Science, Development Studies or any other relevant discipline from Public/National university.

• At least 3 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO

• Minimum 03 years’ experience in relevant field.
• Experience in working with children and youth, Education , Gender-based violence, Prevention of Child Marriage interventions.
• Willing to drive motor cycle with valid driving license.

The organization is going to implement 5 (Five) years (1st March 2025 to 30 September 2029) Girls Get Equal 2.0: Realising rights and building resilience project an integrated approaches to end child early & force marriage (CEFM) project funded by NORAD. Girls Get Equal 2.0: Realising Rights and Building Resilience project will be implemented in Pathogata & Bamna Upazila of Barguna District in partnership with Plan International Bangladesh. RDF invites applications from the competent and qualified persons for the following positions.

Technical Officer-Education will be responsible for implementing project interventions at the school and union levels. S/he is responsible for ensure program quality and documentation for the Pathorgata and Bamna Upazila (Sub-district). S/he will advocate for strengthening the school based child protection through networking and collaboration with relevant civil society organizations, school management committee, school authority, duty bearers and other institutions at the Upazila levels.

Responsibilities:

• Providing support for achieving annual objectives and targets for the Pathorgata and Bamna Upazila.

• Monitors program implementation in school for achieving results.

• Supervises and provides supports to the Field Facilitator-Education of the Pathorgata and Bamna Upazila for developing their plans and rolling them out.

• Ensures compliance with the Gender and Safeguarding policies in implementing the project; works as the Child Protection Focal point for keeping children safe during project implementation.

• Providing support to all team members and develops their capacity.

• Reports to the Project Coordinator.

• Annual increment as per RDF HR Policy
