Education:

  • Masters in Agriculture, Management, Social Science, Development Studies or any other relevant discipline from Public/National University along with Minimum 05 years’ experience in relevant fieldin the rural context.  However, for extra-ordinary qualified having proven experience and track record, the educational qualification can be flexible.

  • Age limit35 to 50 years (Flexible depending on relevant experience)
  • Minimum 05 years relevant experience with National and/or International NGO(s).
  • Experience on report writing both in English and Bengali.
  • Excellent skills on conducting training on relevant subject.   
  • Develop and implement detailed project plans outlining key activities, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with GoB and stakeholders to ensure project alignment with community needs and organizational goals.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage project staff, ensuring clear communication and delegation of tasks.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment to achieve project objectives effectively
  • Establish monitoring frameworks to track project progress and outcomes.
  • Conduct regular evaluations and prepare reports on project performance, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and submit timely and quality project reports to management and donor.
  • Must have valid driving license and willing to drive motor bike.   
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with project management tools.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including government officials, community leaders, and project staff·      
  • Strong understanding and adequate experience on Safeguarding of Children and Project Participants.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a proactive, results-oriented approach to problem-solving.     
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines·       
  • Team player with experience in multi-cultural and multi-ethnic environments for achievement of org. Additional Requirements.
  • Strong practical knowledge of “Safeguarding of children and project participants”.
  • Willing to travel extensively (75% of her/his official time) in the field.

Responsibilities & Context:

Contract Duration: Upto 31st December 2027 (the employment contract for this position is renewable on annual basis subject to availability of fund)

About the Program: The "Youth-Driven Food Security and Environment Project" aims to increase the economic stability and social empowerment of rural youth by providing skills development and income-generating opportunities. Increasing self-reliance, reducing unemployment, stimulating local economic growth, creating a more prosperous future for rural communities, which will stimulate national economic growth
