• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook);

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team;

• Attention to detail and accuracy;

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Job Context:

Gana Unnayan Kendra (GUK) is seeking for a suitable candidate for the position of “Technical Officer (Agriculture & Livestock)” for AWO International supported ‘Promoting Food and Nutrition Security for Climate Vulnerable Communities in Gaibandha District, Bangladesh (PROOFS) project. The project duration is November 01, 2024 to December 31, 2026. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Arrange agriculture and livestock-related training for beneficiaries;

• Facilitation of training;

• Follow-up and technical assistance to beneficiaries for agro-based and livestock farming/rearing activities;

• Provide technical support to other project staff for smooth implementation;

• Close communication with livestock, and agriculture officials;

• Reporting and documentation.
