Job Context:

Gana Unnayan Kendra (GUK) is seeking for a suitable candidate for the position of “Technical Office (Civil Engineer)” for AWO International supported ‘Promoting Food and Nutrition Security for Climate Vulnerable Communities in Gaibandha District, Bangladesh (PROOFS)’ project. The project duration is November 01, 2024 to December 31, 2026. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, estimation and implementation of construction works such as safe shelters, evacuation routes, WASH facilities, etc;

• Monitoring and guiding the technical quality of the construction of multi-purpose flood shelters;

• Monitoring and ensuring the technical quality of the construction of WASH facilities e.g. latrine, tube wells, and community bathing cubicles on site;

• She/he will prepare and submit monitoring progress reports of construction works to the PM and GUK management in time.
