Job Context:
∎ Partners in Health and Development (PHD) is a national development organization in Bangladesh that has been working in the public health sector over 32 years and currently implementing different projects in 22 districts. PHD intends to hire one competent Technical Coordinator for proposed Community Based Maternal, Neonatal Sexual & Reproductive Health Program (MNRHP) for the Rohingya & Host Community, of Cox`s Bazar district.
∎ Job objective: To effective implementation of the planned project activities at assigned working area and provide technical support in the field level program, monitoring and guidance to the other colleagues in achieving the project`s overall goal and objectives.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide technical inputs, knowledge, and assistance in project activities and producing learning documents.
∎ Provide technical inputs for donor and organizational reports in relation to the project and making recommendations for further improvement.
∎ Will be responsible for the project's technical oversight in accordance with the project's target outcomes and log frame.
∎ Provide support to the Team Leader and project team to ensure the smooth running of project and provide technical supervision of the project's activities.
∎ Ensure consistency in the activities with established best practices, acceptable international and national health standards as well as exporting updated knowledge and information.
∎ Working closely with government functionaries, local government institutions, private and non-government organizations.
∎ Identify gaps of inclusion in project and other policies and identify barriers to access the project goal.
∎ Should have capability to work individually on developing innovative ideas according to concurrent need & issues by taking support from project people & reviewing different documents (Concept Note, Implementation summery, training modules & guidelines) & keep regular liaison with project focal person to generate ideas, prepare & finalize the documents.
∎ Also closely work with the UNFPA SRH programme team as well as Field teams by following UNFPA and national systems and tools to deliver development results
∎ Identifying capacity gaps & provide technical support to the field operation team for implementing quality programs
∎ Conduct training for the project staff as well as provide support to the various sector training on SRHR & ASRHR
∎ Coordinate and attend meeting with SRH subsector, Community Health Working Group and other relevant technical sectors.
∎ Maintaining liaison with government stakeholders such as RRRC, CS, DDFP, DC etc.
∎ Any other tasks seemed necessary to achieve the project objectives according to the request of higher authority.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 25 years
∎ 5 years of Working Experience (Will get priority who have the experience to work in the Refugee context)
∎ Good interpersonal skills and working in diverse teams.
∎ Ability to train and mentor co-workers.
∎ Good speaking and writing skills in both Bangla and English.
∎ Ability to work in demanding situation
Salary: Tk. 105000 (Monthly)
