Job Context:
∎ Social Assistance and Rehabilitation for the Physically Vulnerable (SARPV) was established in 1989, a non-profit organization advocating for equal rights and social inclusion for people with a disability in Bangladesh, particularly the underprivileged. We provide medical treatment, primary education, vocational training, emergency financial aid and community support to our beneficiaries, their families and communities to encourage social acceptance, empowerment and independence of people with a disability.
∎ ASSIGNMENT:
∎ Develop and adapt necessary reporting formats and prepare a monitoring matrix for the program
∎ Supervision of nutrition program activities in the Upazila/Camp level.
∎ Provide all types of technical supports to the field level staffs.
∎ Assist HoD Nutrition/DPM of SARPV for the overall management of IMCN & CMAM/BSFP & TSFP program.
∎ She/ He will spend 60% time at the field and 40% for official work, training and meeting
∎ OVERALL OBJECTIVE:
∎ To ensure the smooth and proper running of the program through providing systematic and regular supervision, monitoring and follow up of all activities at the field level through MIS Officer, Field Monitor, Union Supervisors, Community Mobilizers, CNVs and CNWs/BSFP & TSFP center level staffs.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ SCREENING, DETECTION AND REFERRAL MECHANISM FOR SAM/MAM CASES AND THEIR ADMISSION AND DISCHARGE IN THE OTP/TSFP/BSFP SITE:
∎ Supervision, monitoring and follow up of all the activities in the OTP/TSFP/BSFP sites at the CC level and ensuring that they are running all the activities according to established protocols and standards given by WFP and ACF
∎ ENSURE BCC COMPONENT OF THE IMCN & CMAM/BSFP & TSFP PROGRAMME IS IN PLACE
∎ Ensure regular nutrition education session on the distribution day
∎ Ensure regular courtyard session at the community level
∎ Ensure appropriate IEC materials used by CNVs/CNWs in the session
∎ Ensure the quality of nutrition education session at the CNC and community level
∎ Make sure in health education family follow the hygienic environment to ensure nutritional intake from own initiative. (two fruit tree plant two chicken rear, use improve cooking stove, hygienic latrine, put dust in a hole)
∎ QUALITY CONTROL OF THE PROGRAMME
∎ Ensure appropriate referral and follow up mechanism is in place for malnourished children, pregnant and lactating mothers.
∎ Ensure the implementation and follow up of standard protocols in the CNC
∎ Ensure the hygiene is maintain in the CNC
∎ TRAINING OF THE STAFFS:
∎ Identify the needs for training of different categories of staff in the program.
∎ Formal and on the job training of Field Monitor, Union Supervisors , Community Mobilizers, CNVs and CNWS in close collaboration with ACF and WFP
∎ Prepare a training report and submit to the HoD Nutrition/DPM
∎ REPORT / ANALYSIS
∎ Collection and compilation of the daily, weekly and monthly statistic reports and submission to the HoD Nutrition/DPM
∎ Support to the MIS Officer, Field Monitor, Union Supervisors and CNVs and CNWs for compilation of daily, weekly and monthly statistic reports
∎ Support to the MIS Officer, Field Monitor, Union Supervisors and CNVs and CNWs for collection and compilation of the stock reports (consumption, stock balance and request new supplies for food and non-food items for CNC.)
∎ Report any kind of problems to the HoD Nutrition/DPM
∎ Make sure that daily, weekly and monthly record of beneficiaries (admissions, cured, defaulters, death, transfer, gain of weight, length of stay, etc) is in place and staff of nutrition program is able to fulfill efficiently.
∎ Ensure monthly qualitative and quantitative nutrition education session
∎ Submission of monthly analytical report to the HoD Nutrition/DPM on the basis of Upazila/center level monthly statistical reports
∎ CONTROL
∎ Control and follow up of distribution and consumption of food products in the CNC and ensure adequate supplies through MIS Officer, Field Monitor and Union Supervisors
∎ Ensure adequate stock levels are maintained at the Upazila and CC level warehouse
∎ Check, control and ensure the attendance of nutrition staffs and respecting working hours.
∎ Check the appropriate use of nutrition equipment and materials in the CNC and identify the need for reparation or replacement of them if they are out of order.
∎ COORDINATION AND COLLABORATIONS:
∎ Work in close collaboration and coordination with ACF and WFP field staffs and give timely feedback on going activities through HoD Nutrition
∎ Collaboration and coordination with ACF/WFP team members at field level
∎ Collaboration and coordination with other stakeholders at field level
∎ Active participation to the community mobilization and awareness sessions among the local population.
∎ Ensure monthly coordination meeting of SARPV field staffs at the Upazila level.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 6 months experience in the field of management of nutrition project
∎ Ability to ensure coordination & negotiation with partners on the ground
∎ Technically sound on nutrition aspect
∎ Well known about the country strategy and guideline of CMAM
∎ Good communication and presentation skills
∎ Team-building, capacity building and training skills
∎ Leagues: English and Bengali Excellent Written and spoken.
∎ Excellent computer skill (Microsoft office: Word, Excel and Power point)

Salary: Tk. 48000 - 55000 (Monthly)
